Inside the Abraj Al Bait complex facing the King Abdul Aziz Gate, so the walk to the Haram is short and entirely covered. Most rooms look out over the Masjid al-Haram, and the tower's own shops and restaurants mean you rarely need to go far.
Makkah · Kudai Road
In the Kudai area, connected to the Haram by the King Abdul Aziz Gate tunnel. Guests use the hotel's own shuttle rather than walking, and it runs often enough that the wait is rarely more than a few minutes even late at night. Comfortable rooms at a better rate than the central-area towers.

Makkah · Ibrahim Al Khalil Street
On Ibrahim Al Khalil Street, walkable to the Haram along a busy road lined with shops and restaurants. A sensible middle option for groups who want to stay within walking distance without central-area pricing.

A straightforward, well-kept option in the Jarwal area, within walking distance of the Haram. The budget choice for groups who would rather spend on a longer stay than on a shorter walk.
Makkah · Outer Makkah
Further out, and priced accordingly. Too far to walk comfortably, so guests here rely on the complimentary shuttle that runs to the Haram around the clock. Good value for longer stays if you do not mind the transfer.

Madina · Central Area
Directly on the Masjid an-Nabawi piazza, beside the Bab al-Salam entrance. The closest of anything we book in Madina, and the easiest choice for elderly travellers who want to return between every prayer.

A short walk from the southern gates of the Prophet's Mosque, and one of the better-value central-area options. Straightforward rooms, but the location does the work.
Madina · Opposite Gate 330
Sits directly outside Gate 330 of the Masjid an-Nabawi. That matters especially for women travelling in the group, as it puts the women's prayer entrance close by.
Madina · Western Madina
A quiet, plainly furnished hotel on the western side of the Haram with a large marble lobby. Popular with groups who want to stay walkable while keeping the package price down.
Madina · Central Madina district
Our most economical Madina option. Simple, clean rooms with the essentials and nothing more, within walking distance of the Haram. Best suited to groups prioritising a longer stay over comfort.
Why we do not print distances. Published figures for these hotels disagree with each other, sometimes by more than a kilometre, and a walking time depends on which gate you use and how busy the day is. Rather than quote a number we cannot stand behind, ask us about a specific hotel and we will tell you what we actually know about the walk.
