Umrah Visa Requirements for Pakistani Passport Holders

15 January 2026

What documents you need, how long processing takes, and the vaccination certificates required before you can travel.

An Umrah visa for a Pakistani passport holder is now issued electronically in most cases, and the paperwork is far lighter than it used to be. What follows is the list we ask every pilgrim to prepare before we begin an application.

You will need a passport valid for at least six months from your date of travel, recent passport-size photographs with a white background, and your CNIC. Women under 45 travelling without a mahram should speak to us first, as the requirements here change from time to time.

Vaccination against meningitis (ACWY) is mandatory, and the certificate must be issued at least ten days before you travel. Keep the original with your passport — you will be asked for it on arrival.

Processing usually takes three to seven working days once documents are complete. We recommend starting at least four weeks before your intended departure, because flight and hotel prices rise sharply as dates approach.

If anything in your case is unusual — a previous visa refusal, a name mismatch between passport and CNIC, travelling with an infant — tell us at the start rather than midway. Almost everything can be handled, but only if we know about it early.
